Founded in 1992 with the aim of providing a healthier and better quality of life, MN Própolis focuses its activities on research, development and production of healthy and functional foods.

We are a Brazilian company, based in the municipality of Mogi das Cruzes (SP), with 3 decades of experience in the national and international market. MN Propolis is a reference in what it proposes to do and its products are present in countries such as Japan, China, France, Germany, United States, Canada, Turkey and Malaysia. We are pioneers in the use of advanced technologies and in the commercialization of natural and organic ingredients in our segment.

In 1992, MN Group was founded in the city of Mogi das Cruzes/SP, by Japanese immigrant Norihito Matsuda.

Implementation of the MNH - Organic Beekeeping Research Center. This is the first apiary with organic certification in Brazil. It is currently an environmental preservation area with 651 hectares in Paraibuna (SP) and 656 hectares in Lima Duarte (MG).

We started the production of food extracts under high pressure, with technology that had never been used in Brazil until then. The process allows the total transformation of food into fluid extracts, without loss of properties due to the absence of oxidation of active substances and without the use of chemical additives.

We introduced the research of vacuum and cold dehydration, called Lyophilization. The technique consists of dehydrating the food without deteriorating its nutritional properties.

We have received the GMP/GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) International Certification. This certification guarantees that MN Propolis adopts the best manufacturing practices and presents total safety and effectiveness of the products. It is worth mentioning that we are the first company in the beekeeping sector to receive this certification.

We implemented MN Food, a venture specialized in Japanese cuisine, specifically pasta and sauces, such as Shoyu, Organic Miso and also supplying ingredients for Food Service. And from this project, new ventures were born: MN Lamen, a restaurant specializing in Lamen, a traditional oriental dish.

We launched the first Organic Miso in Brazil with organic certification. Made from organic soy and organic rice, following the ancient Japanese tradition.

Sustainability: insertion of solar panels to generate photovoltaic energy that supplies the entire industrial complex.

Creation of the research and development sector in the area of animal nutrition.

The GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) certification guarantees the application of all guidelines established in accordance with Codex Alimentarius – CAC/RCP 1-1969 (Rev. 4 - 2003), a collection of internationally recognized standards, codes of conduct, guidelines and other recommendations relating to food, food production and food safety.

MN Propolis is certified by SGS, a world leader in inspection, verification, testing and certification. The process required by SGS guarantees effective solutions in safety, quality and sustainability. It protects consumers, complies with all legislation and ensures food quality at all stages of the product production, packaging, storage and distribution process.

Organic certification guarantees the application of all guidelines established for each market served.

MN Própolis' organic products are certified and approved by the Brazilian System of Organic Assessment and Conformity, and also by Ecocert, a French certifier and one of the first to obtain accreditation from the Ministry of Agriculture (MAPA) as a certifier of organic products in accordance with the Standard Brazilian Organics (Law 10831/03). Ecocert is associated with the Institute "Brasil Orgânico" and complies with all the organic guidelines of the domestic market, it also complies with all the guidelines of the North American Market USDA/NOP and the European Common Market CE/EU.

O Certificado Halal “é um documento fiel de garantia emitido por uma instituição certificadora Halal reconhecida por países islâmicos, para atestar que a empresas, processo e produtos seguem os requisitos legais e critérios determinados pela jurisprudência islâmica (Sharia)”.​
